Clinical Nutrition & Weight Management Services for Cats & Dogs
Basic nutrition and weight management recommendations are always FREE for training clients.
Befuddled by the raw food trend? Confused about the grain vs grain-free debate? Want to know more about which foods to avoid to prevent DCM? Not sure if you’re feeding the right amount? Or just plain don’t know which kibble to choose? I’m here to help!
100% evidence-based recommendations, 0% pseudoscience.
It is my main goal in life to understand everything I can about how to best take care of both cats and dogs. This can be hard with the hyper-marketing that happens in the pet industry- and not just with food! I am a thorough individual and I stand behind my recommendations. I will not recommend a nutritional supplement unless there are high-quality research studies with a large participant group proving its effectiveness.
What’s included in a nutrition consultation?
Clients will receive a questionnaire regarding their pets current health and diet when the consult is officially booked. To prepare for your appointment I will review your questionnaire and perform any research, if necessary. We will go over your pet’s current diet and assess if a change is needed. Supplements will be suggested, if needed. If a diet change or supplements are recommended, appropriate daily feeding amounts will be calculated for you. After your consult, you will receive a follow-up email, recapping our conversation with the items discussed, including any products recommended. One or two follow-up emails are included, if necessary.
